About Dr. T

“My treatment philosophy is to treat my patients the way I would want myself or my family members to be treated. I always utilize what I like to refer to as the ‘family test’ when advising treatment and surgical options for my patients.”

About Dr. T

Dr. Thongtrangan, Dr. T, has achieved the highest level of training in spine surgery completing fellowships in both Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Spine Surgery.

During his fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center, he gained experience in complex spinal and peripheral nerve reconstruction, scoliosis, tumor, and revision surgery for patients who have undergone previous spinal surgery without success. He went on to complete an additional fellowship in Orthopedic Spine at the prestigious Texas Back Institute where he had an opportunity to focus on minimally invasive techniques and artificial disc replacement.

Dr. T always has a passion for cutting edge technology that showed excellent outcomes for his patients. He has been dedicated his practice and mastering techniques in endoscopic assisted, laser-assisted, robotic-assisted, and navigation assisted spine surgery throughout his career and recently he founded his practice “Microspine”. His vision is to offer the life-changing and best experience minimally invasive spine care to the patients.

He has been published several papers in peer-reviewed journals. He was an author and co-author of several chapters in spine textbooks that were used worldwide.
